Radio icon Howard Stern received an early Christmas present of a RealTouch from Lisa Ann, star of the adult video parody Who’s Nailin’ Paylin?, who recently signed on to promote the device. After viewing the product she presented to him during her recent appearance on his Sirius/XM show, Stern joked with his listeners: “This is what I’ve been waiting for all my life!”

The public release of RealTouch has been a hot adult industry topic since the
system was announced last January. Industry insiders and pundits have lauded the
technology and hailed it not only as a revolutionary product for men but as a

Cory, a respected writer on all matters of human sexuality, seems to have been highly impressed with the actual feel of the thing.  And it is the feel, at the end of the day, which is going to be what is critical to the success of the RealTouch and other virtual sex devices like it in the future.

You put the Real Touch over your penis (or your penis inside of Real Touch, depending on where you want to place sexual agency) and you watch something sexual. As you see something happening on screen you feel a surprisingly similar thing happening inside Real Touch.

As eager followers of the development of the RealTouch will know, the plan currently is to synchronise the device’s movements, tightness, lubrication, heat etc with the actions of pre-recorded porn films.  The next step, one would hope, would be to create the ability to synchronise the RealTouch with the live actions of a webcam performer or, eventually, even your MSN chat sex buddy – the ultimate goal of virtual sex technology.

In fact Cory’s major concerns are with the current programming restrictions.  I’m more heartened by the fact that he was obviously highly satisfied with the feel of the RealTouch.  If AEBN have actually managed to successfully simulate the experience of sex, all the potential wider applications for that simulation will follow sooner or later.

Now get this.  One of the RealTouch people explained to Cory that the lube chamber within the virtual sex toy can be programmed to produce the required amount of lube at exactly the point which the porn actress orgasms on screen.  That’s right, this thing actually simulates a female ejaculation soaking your dick.  And you still say $250 will be a lot to pay for it??
